What we store, what we don't
This site is operated by Eloy Rubio (Zurich, Switzerland). This page explains what data we touch when you visit weekendflights.app.
Short version
No accounts. No email signup. No cookies. No tracking pixels. No data sold or shared.
What we collect
Nothing personal that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, email, IP-linked profile, or location.
When you search for a route (for example, ZRH → BCN), we send the route, dates, and passenger count to our flight data provider (SerpAPI) to fetch live prices. That request contains no information about you.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics in cookieless mode. It counts page views and aggregate referrers. It does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your browser, and does not store your IP in identifiable form. Cloudflare's documentation confirms this is GDPR-friendly by design.
Cookies
None at launch. If we ever add cookies beyond strictly necessary ones, we will ask first using a proper consent banner (as required by EU ePrivacy and the revised Swiss FADP).
Hosting and data flows
- Hosting: Cloudflare Pages, served from a global CDN with EU data residency commitments for European visitors.
- Flight data: SerpAPI (US-based). Only the search query reaches them, never your identity.
- Affiliate clicks: When you click a price, you leave our site and land on Google Flights. Google's privacy policy applies from that point.
International transfers (Switzerland → US for SerpAPI) rely on the US Data Privacy Framework adequacy and Cloudflare's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the Swiss FADP, EU GDPR, and UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Confirm whether we hold any data about you (we don't, but you can ask)
- Delete anything we somehow do hold
- Object to processing

Children
Site is general audience. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the "Last updated" date above moves and the change is summarized at the top.
